Best Banana Pudding Ever!

So for the 4th of July we were invited to our new neighbors for a BBQ. I decided to bring along my homemade banana pudding. It wasn't the most perfectly packaged ordeal as I hadn't thought of using an old vintage dish, but rather went for a last minute aluminum pan - I won't make that mistake again!! Such delicious pudding certainly deserves and equally impressive presentation. 

I wrote the recipe down for at least 3 folks, so I thought why not share it with you.

  • 1 box Vanilla Wafers
  • Bananas, sliced
  • Milk
  • 1 box Instant French Vanilla pudding
  • Cream cheese
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream

In the medium bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the milk and pudding mix. In a large bowl, using the hand mixer combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together until smooth.

Once the pudding is smooth, use a spatula to fold in the whipped topping. 

To the bottom of the 9×13 dish, cover evenly with half of the vanilla wafers. Add the bananas, sliced into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness, to the top of the wafers. 

Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas, covering with the remaining cookies.
